ABOUT

LAX Day is a special, one-day programme organised annually to provide a platform for UPM students to display their work to the UPM community and the world. LAX or Language Activities was first introduced in 2013 when the English Language Experience Package (ELEx) was introduced. Together with the LPE or Language Proficiency classes and the CEL or Certificate English Language classes, the LAX activities were designed as a context-based language immersion experience for the students to use English in various non-academic situations. LAX Day became a natural extension as CALC realised that there had to be an outlet for the students to showcase the fruits of their labour.
